[origin: WO2008141760A2] The invention relates to a parking/storage device for motor vehicles, goods, or the like, comprising several parking/storage spaces, at least one of which is located on a raisable or lowerable platform. The platform is guided along one or more vertical columns while a kinetic drive unit is provided for the platform. The kinetic drive unit encompasses a traction mechanism as well as a movable bar featuring a traction deflecting contrivance. One end of the traction mechanism grips the platform.
