Abstract (en)
The brochure (31) has a book block (5), and an envelope comprising a smaller thickness in a rear area (4) than at sides (2, 3) of the envelope, such that a thinning area (9) is formed in the rear area. The rear area with the smaller thickness corresponds approximately to a breadth of the book block. The book block is glued to the rear area by an adhesive (32) e.g. polyurethane, acrylate or ethylene vinyl acetate. The book block is manufactured from a paper, paper with a reinforcement material or cardboard, and printed images are formed on an outer side of the envelope. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a brochure.

Broschur(31) mit einem Buchblock(5) und einem Umschlag(1), wobei der Umschlag(1) im Rückenbereich(4) eine geringere Dicke aufweist als an den Umschlagseiten(2,3) und so eine Verdünnung(9) im Rückenbereich(4) gebildet ist und der Bereich mit der geringeren Dicke wenigstens annähernd der Breite des Buchblockes(5) entspricht und daß der Buchblock(5) in den Bereich mittels einer Rückenbeleimung(32) eingeklebt ist.
