Surfactant-containing cleaning agent comprises 0.001-10 wt.% of at least one cationic terpolymer, which is composed of (a) at least vinylimidazole monomers, (b) at least vinyl pyrrolidone monomers and (c) poly(dimethyldiallylammonium chloride), where the agent has a pH of 2-5.5, when it is used as a cosmetic cleaning agent, and a pH of 2-11, when it is formulated as cleaning agent for hard surfaces and/or textiles. An independent claim is included for cleaning and conditioning the skin and the hair, comprising applying the agent to the skin or the hair and contacting the agent with the skin or the hair for 30 seconds to several hours and washing the skin or the hair.

Es werden tensidhaltige Reinigungsmittel auf der Basis eines kationischen Terpolymers beschrieben, die als kosmetisches Reinigungsmittel einen pH-Wert im Bereich von 2 bis 5,5, und als Reinigungsmittel für harte Oberflächen und/oder Textilien einen pH-Wert im Bereich von 2 bis 11 aufweisen. Die kosmetischen Mittel dieser Erfindung eignen sich hervorragend zur Verbesserung der sensorischen Eigenschaften der Haare sowie zur innerstrukturellen Stabilisierung der Haare.
