[origin: EP2151529A2] The method involves supplying a hydrodynamic sewer cleaning device (14) with industrial water under pressure in a sewer section (21) to be cleaned, where the sewer cleaning device is moved forwards by a repulsive force of the resulting water jet for dissolving impurities (30). The impurities are flushed with the water jet and removed from the sewer section in the form of industrial waste water after the sewer cleaning device is pulled-out. The water is taken-out from a cleaned sewer section or the sewer section to be cleaned.
