Bei einem Haushaltsgerät mit mehreren in einem Gehäuse abgeteilten Fächern und einer Statusanzeige (7) zum Darstellen von auf wenigstens eines der Fächer bezogener Betriebszustandsinformation, ist die Statusanzeige (7) in eine Mehrzahl von jeweils einem der Fächer zugeordneten Anzeigefeldern (14, 15, 16) unterteilt, und die Anordnung der Anzeigefelder (14, 15, 16) auf der Statusanzeige (7) bildet die Anordnung der Fächer an dem Haushaltsgerät nach.
