Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2008141938A1] The invention relates to seats with a pivoting tray. More particularly, said seat (1) is specifically designed for pivoting screens (2) of large size and comprises at least one armrest (4) and one pivoting display screen. The screen has a jointed support arm (22) mounted on a moving carriage (24) and the armrest has a rail (3) in the form of a circular arc, the top ed of the rail being essentially vertical and the bottom part being essentially horizontal the carriage being mounted on said rail and can be moved in translation between a first low storage position for the screen and a second high position for the screen. The screen may also have a cover (21) such as to be usable as a tray.
