[origin: WO2008131974A1] The method serves for the production of a screen (1) as it is used, for example, for the sorting of fibrous material suspensions suitable for the production of paper. It comprises at least two screen layers (2, 3, 4) that are equipped with openings and connected to each other in a planar manner. The openings are introduced into the screen layers before the connection of the same. They are configured and disposed such that screen openings (7, 8) are created, through which all screen layers (2, 3, 4) pass.
