[origin: WO2008145357A1] The invention relates to a refrigerator and/or freezer comprising one or several shelves for accommodating products that are to be chilled or frozen as well as several extensions which are joined to the shelves and by means of which the shelves can be extracted from and inserted into the refrigerator/freezer. The extensions comprise a first and a second housing part in addition to an extension rail that comprises a first and a second part that can be displaced in relation to each other. The first housing part can be directly or indirectly connected to the first part of the extension rail and the second housing part can be connected directly or indirectly to the second part of the extension rail. The first housing part can be connected directly or indirectly to the shelves and the second housing part can be connected directly or indirectly to the refrigerator and/or freezer.
