Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008152256A2] The invention relates to a diagnostic device for an after-the-fact analysis of the behaviour of a four-wheel-steer motor vehicle, comprising an assembly of sensors capable of measuring chosen parameters representative of the state of the motor vehicle. It also comprises at least one main memory, a first assembly of sensors (21, 23) capable of measuring a first set of parameters, a buffer memory (25) capable of storing the said first set of parameters when the angular speed of deflection of the rear wheels and the speed of the motor vehicle respectively exceed a given threshold, the buffer memory being coupled to the said main memory via transfer means capable of transferring the data from the buffer memory (25) to the main memory (31) when a predetermined event (EV20) occurs while the motor vehicle operates in nominal mode.
