[origin: EP2154276A1] The device (1) has a winding carrier, and a rotation drive (8) that rotationally drives the winding carrier. A bearing unit (11) is provided for the winding carrier, and a thread band guiding device e.g. cross spreading device (5), is driven along the winding carrier. The winding carrier is formed as a warp beam (2), which is detachably connected with the rotation drive and the bearing unit, where the winding carrier exhibits a warp beam plate. A cross band storage (14) is detachably connected with the warp beam and is torque-proofly connected wit the rotation drive.
