Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009130147A1] The present invention relates to a puncturing device (100), that is, a so-called transfer spike for opening and subsequently removing a fluid from a bag or introducing a powder-like or liquid substance to the fluid in the bag by means of the puncturing device. The bag can be, for example, filled with an infusion solution for a patient, and has a correspondingly designed closure on the opening and removal region thereof. The puncturing device is introduced into the interior of the bag through the closure after the bag is opened. The puncturing device comprises a snap closure (10) for mounting on the closure of the bag. After the puncturing device is mounted on the bag, a section of the puncturing device is partially broken off or open within the bag, in order to create a flow channel for removing the fluid from the bag or for mixing the fluid in the bag with a further substance.
