Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1987883A1] The mill has a rotor (20) rotatably driven by a motor (4). The rotor includes a holding device (7) with an outer circumference to which parallel rod-shaped beating elements (8) are attached. Parallel rod-shaped counter beating elements (11) are arranged on an inner surface of an annular sieving element (10). The rotor and the sieving element are aligned horizontally. Supply openings are arranged in vicinity of the circumference of the holding device and are provided with deflecting devices (9) for conducting a material to be pulverized towards upper regions of the beating elements (8).
