[origin: WO2008138431A1] The invention relates to a crane vehicle (1) that can be displaced on a railway track (8) extending across at least two rail vehicles (7). Said crane vehicle is partially formed by rail bridges (9) partially positioned between the individual rail vehicles (7), and equipped with a joint (10) for moving it from a transfer position to a deployment position. A manipulator (12) having a manipulation member (15) movable by means of drives (13, 14) for gripping a rail bridge (9) is located on the crane vehicle (1). Thus, an increased level of safety is provided for operating personnel because exiting the crane vehicle (1) is no longer necessary.
