[origin: WO2008151801A1] For known lighting fixtures, the illuminated area is defined insufficiently. The novel lighting fixture should illuminate a defined area, for example, a rectangular area. For this purpose, 3-dimensional convex reflectors (3), which are irradiated by light emitting diodes (2), are used. The radiating characteristic of this light reflector unit is determined by changing the position of the light with respect to the reflector unit. Because of the low energy required, the lighting fixture is suitable, for example, as a streetlight which, in case of need, is supplied with power by means of a battery (11) and which is regenerated during the day by means of a photovoltaic module (12).
