The structure of the foamed metal is open porous and is flowed through at a moderate temperature. The rolling or cylinder body has an outside full-metallic hollow cylinder (11), in which an internal element is arranged. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a roller or a cylinder for use in a printer, converter or a varnishing machine.
