[origin: EP2157020A1] The apparatus (2) has dispensing head (12) that is arranged on a dispensing arm (10). A dispensing edge (14) deflects a carrier belt to detach respective label. The dispensing edge is pivotable to adjust the movement direction of the labels detached from the carrier belt. An independent claim is included for labeling machine.
