Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2157234A2] The method comprises subjecting a further layer (4) on external of an elastic layer (3) by high-speed flame spraying. The further layer forms a self-flowing alloy and the elastic layer cools during the application of the further layer, by using carbon dioxide. The thickness of the further layer is adjusted to 3-10 mu m. The further layer forms a nickel containing material mixture or nickel containing alloy. The material of the further layer is subjected on the elastic layer with a temperature of 2000[deg] C and/or with a velocity of 650 m/s. An independent claim is included for a calander roller.
