The downpipe has an inflow channel (3) arranged at an upper inlet opening (2), and an outlet opening (5) arranged in an outer sidewall (4) of a housing (1). An accumulation wall (6) is arranged in the housing, in such a manner that a siphon channel (7) and a discharge channel (8) are formed within the housing. The channel (7) is attached to the channel (3), and the channel (8) flows into the opening (5). The channel (7) is limited by the sidewall and the wall (6), and the channel (8) is limited by the wall (6). The channel (8) is arranged between the channel (7) and the channel (3).

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Ablauf mit einem Gehäuse (1), einer oberen Eintrittsöffnung (2), einem an der Eintrittsöffnung (2) angeordneten Einströmkanal (3) und einer in der äußeren Seitenwand (4) des Gehäuses (1) angeordneten Austrittsöffnung (5). Erfindungsgemäß ist in dem Gehäuse (1) eine Anstauwand (6) im Wesentlichen parallel zur äußeren Seitenwand (4) des Gehäuses (1) derart angeordnet, dass innerhalb des Gehäuses (1) ein Siphonkanal (7) und ein Auslaufkanal (8) gebildet ist. Dabei schließt der Siphonkanal (7) an den Einströmkanal (3) an und der Auslaufkanal (8) mündet in die Austrittsöffnung (5). Ferner ist der Siphonkanal (7) durch die äußere Seitenwand (4) und die Anstauwand (6) begrenzt. Der Auslaufkanal (8) ist durch die Anstauwand (6) und den Einströmkanal (3) begrenzt.
