[origin: EP2157255A2] Protective device (10) comprises a U-shaped molded body (20) made from a lattice-like air-permeable folding material made from a fabric or braiding made from plastic or natural fibers. The molded body has sides forming triangular wall surfaces (21a, 22a) which correspond to surfaces of lateral openings. A bar connecting the sides of the molded body has a rectangular wall surface (25a) which corresponds to the surface of a front opening when a window frame (110) is opened. Preferred Features: Both wall surfaces and the rectangular wall surface of the U-shaped molded body are connected together.
