Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2157834A2] The arrangement has an input for supplying an input voltage (Vin), and an output for outputting an output voltage to a semiconductor light source (D1) i.e. LED. A main current path has a serial connection of a switch i.e. power MOSFET (Q1), an inductor (L) and an anti-parallel connection of a diode (D2) and/or the light source. A storage capacitor (C3) is arranged parallel to the light source, and a resonance capacitor (C1) is arranged parallel to the switch and has capacity greater than effective active parasitic capacity of the switch.
