[origin: WO2008152049A1] The invention relates to an ink chamber (1) for an inking system of a rotary printing machine comprising at least the following elements: - an ink transfer roller rotating about an axis during operation, - an elongated doctor blade chamber body (3) extending in the direction of said axis, comprising a channel-like cutout, - two doctor blades attachable to the doctor blade chamber body and able to contact the ink transfer roller, - two sealing bodies (9) disposed in the end areas of the doctor blade chamber body, the sealing surfaces of said sealing bodies being able to contact the ink transfer roller, - an ink inlet by way of which printing ink can be fed into the channel-like cutout, and - two ink outlets, through which printing ink can be removed from the channel-like cutout, one ink outlet being disposed in each end area of the channel-like cutout. Two end pieces (2) are provided in which the channel-like cutout continues. The ink outlets are disposed in the end pieces and the end pieces may be attached to the end regions of the blade chamber body in a removable fashion.
