[origin: WO2008141624A1] The invention relates to a scissor lifting platform, particularly for vehicles, comprising: stationary support rails at or in the floor level, at least two crossing scissor bars held and guided at the lower ends thereof in the support rails, a joint connecting the two scissor bars to each other approximately centrally, a lifting power unit engaging with the scissor bars for spreading and closing the scissor bars, at least one driving rail having contact surfaces and supported on the upper ends of the scissor bars, one of the scissor bars being hinged at the upper end thereof to a driving rail and the other scissor bar being longitudinally displaceably guided at the upper end thereof on the driving rail during the lifting and lowering motion of the scissor lifting platform, characterized in that the longitudinally displaceable ends of the two scissor bars (12, 13; 20, 21) can be locked to the associated driving rail (28) at least in the raised position.
