[origin: EP2159053A2] The printing method involves forming a printing form (18) on an extent surface of a printing cylinder (14). The printing form is arranged such that it is adjacent directly on the edge of the extent surface at an end of the pneumatic cylinder. The pneumatic cylinder and an impression cylinder (10) are axially shifted against each other in such a manner that it is overlapped only on the width of the printing web (B). An independent claim is included for a rotogravure method.
