Abstract (en)
The method involves placing sheets (12') on one another at a staple. The individual sheets, which belong to a block, are connected together by an adhesive. The adhesive is applied on the sheet before the sheets adjacent to a side edge of the sheet. An independent claim is included for a device for manufacturing stacking formed by blocks.

Zur Bildung von Stapeln (15, 15'), von denen jeder einen Buchblock bildet, werden gefalzte Bogen (12') vor dem Aufeinanderlegen mit einem Klebstoffauftrag (14) versehen. Dieser Klebstoffauftrag (14) wird benachbart zur Falzkante (13) der Bogen (12') auf diese aufgebracht und erstreckt sich in Richtung dieser Falzkante (13), die in den Rücken des Buchblocks zu liegen kommt. Der Klebstoff kann als kontinuierliche oder mehrmals unterbrochene Klebstoffspur oder auch punktförmig aufgetragen werden. Die Bogen (12') werden im Stapel (15, 15') mittels dieses Klebstoffauftrags (14) miteinander verbunden, so dass sie beim Weitertransport des Stapels (15, 15') ihre Lage innerhalb des Stapels (15, 15') beibehalten.
