[origin: EP2159351A2] An awning for a caravan or motor caravan has a sun roof (2) which is pulled out of a reel fitted to the side of the vehicle and with removable side walls. Each end wall has a triangular panel (12) fitted to the sunroof and with fittings along its lower edge to secure the end wall panels (13). The end walls can be rolled out from reels (20) fitted to the side of the vehicle and with additional stabilizing provided by corner posts (7). The end walls and the sidewall can be adjusted to provide the selected weather protection of ventilation.
