Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2159530A1] The choke (3) has mechanical coupling units e.g. external screw thread (8) and internal screw thread (9), for mounting and dismounting the choke. A supplementary sealing unit provides sealing to the choke with respect to a barelled firearm (2). The sealing unit is realized in form of a packing ring (16) made of a flexible material e.g. rubber, elastomer or thermoretractable material. The sealing unit is realized in form of a piston segment made of a rigid material e.g. metal or hard synthetic material.
