Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009003609A1] Disclosed is a sliding door subassembly (1) comprising at least one sliding door (2) which can be moved in a guided manner relative to a door frame (3) between an open position and a closed position. A moving guide of the sliding door (2) in the door frame (3) has a forced guiding mechanism between a bottom side (6) of the sliding door (2) and a top side (7) of a floor-mounted profiled door frame section (8). Furthermore, the moving guide has a floating guiding mechanism between a top side (17) of the sliding door (2) and a bottom side of a ceiling-mounted profiled door frame section (18). Said floating guiding mechanism is formed by lateral guiding elements (21, 24) between which the sliding door (2) is guided with tolerance on the ceiling side within a folded area (20) of the ceiling-mounted profiled door frame section (18). The floating guiding mechanism has a plurality of supporting elements (24) which define supported positions of the sliding door (2) on the ceiling-mounted profiled door frame section (18), said supported positions being located at a distance from one another in the moving direction. As a result, the sliding door of said sliding door assembly requires less force to be moved.
