[origin: WO2009000001A2] Drive for a movable furniture part, having an electric motor which is in the form of a linear motor and has a stator (1) and a rotor (2), wherein the rotor (2) can be displaced along an imaginary straight line (3), and wherein the stator (1) and rotor (2) are mounted relative to one another with a degree of play which allows at least partial compensation of a change in the relative position between the stator (1) and the rotor (2) transverse to the imaginary straight line (3), wherein the stator (1) and rotor (2) are mounted relative to one another such that they can be rotated about a rotation axis (4).
