The folding carton has a rectangular, preferably square, and has a base (22) and four walls of to form a container portion (12) for admission and the transport of warm or cold dishes, such as pizza's. To the rear (16) is a wall forming part of the container (12) having a hinged lid (14). The wall of the container portion (12) is hinged as a protective cover (28). The protection cover (28) is hinged at a sidewall (20) portion of the container (12). The protection cover (28) is hinged at the rear (16) opposite the front wall (18) portion of the container (12).

Der Faltkarton mit einem rechteckigen, vorzugsweise quadratischen Grundriss hat einen aus Boden (22) und vier Wänden bestehenden Behälterteil (12) für die Aufnahme und den Transport von warmen oder kalten Speisen, insbesondere Pizza, und einen einstückig an der hinteren, die Rückwand (16) bildenden Wand des Behälterteils (12) angelenkten Deckel (14). An wenigstens einer Wand des Behälterteils (12) ist ein Schutzdeckel (28) angelenkt.
