[origin: EP2161372A2] The section has a rotary suction deflecting roller (16) provided between drying cylinders (12, 14), where a fiber material web e.g. paper web, is guided together with a dryer fabric around the cylinders and deflecting roller. A stationary stabilizer (18) i.e. high vacuum stabilizer, is attached to the deflecting roller, and stabilizes movement of the web in a region between the drying cylinders and the deflecting roller. A counterweight (26) is resiliently and/or oscillatingly and/or floatingly coupled with the stabilizer.
