The element has a rectangular wall body (1) designed in such a manner that wall thickness (D) of the body does not exceed 40 millimeter. A connecting profile (5) is connected to a connection profile (4) i.e. hollow profile, by connecting screws (30). The profile (4) includes T-shaped profile sections (12), which project from a base (6). A leg (13) internally limits a groove (15) in a direction of a middle plane (M) by the sections. The leg is connected to the base at an end and runs parallel to the plane. Another leg (14) protrudes inwardly in the direction of the plane from the leg (13).

Wandelement einer mobilen Trennwand mit einem Wandkörper (1), diesen randseitig einfassenden metallischen Randprofilen (2) und mindestens einer an den Randprofilen befestigten textile Bespannung (19). Mindestens zwei der Randprofile sind aus einem Anschlussprofil (4) und einem Verbindungsprofil (5) zusammengefügt, indem ein mindestens einen geeigneten Verbindungsabschnitt (27) aufweisendes Verbindungsprofil auf ein Anschlussprofil aufgesetzt ist, welches zwei Seitenwände (7) und eine sich zwischen diesen erstreckende Basis (6) aufweist, im Bereich eines Anschlussabschnitts (11) fest mit dem Wandkörper verbunden ist und an dem die textile Bespannung auf bestimmte Weise befestigt ist. Die Dicke (D) des Wandkörpers (1) übersteigt nicht 40mm, das Verbindungsprofil (5) ist mit dem Anschlussprofil (4) jeweils mittels sich im wesentlichen in der Mittelebene (M) des Wandelements erstreckender Verbindungsschrauben (30) verbunden und das Anschlussprofil weist zwei von der Basis (6) vorspringende, im wesentlichen T-förmige Profilabschnitte (12) auf, von denen jeweils ein im wesentlichen parallel zur Mittelebene des Wandelements verlaufender, endseitig an der Basis angeschlossener erster Schenkel (13) die Aufnahmenut (15) innen in Richtung auf die Mittelebene des Wandelements begrenzt, wobei von dem ersten Schenkel jeweils ein anderer, zweiter Schenkel (14) nach innen in Richtung auf die Mittelebene des Wandelements absteht.
