[origin: EP2161396A2] The cylinder has a cylinder core (13) rotatable in a cylinder housing (11), where core has a keyway with a key introduction opening (19), and multiple tumblers (15, 17) arranged in two rows along the keyway in opposite direction. The lock cylinder is actuable by a dimpled key including two oppositely arranged flat sides. An end section adjoins a coding section provided with dimples and extends to a key tip, where the dimpled key is a transportation security administration (TSA)006 type.
