Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2161437A2] The device has an actuator and a closing mechanism (10), which comprises two closure elements (11,13). The former closure element is placed at the thrust reverser door. The latter closure element is placed at the power plant engine structure. An unloading mechanism (20) is provided at the actuator. The unloading mechanism is coupled with the closure mechanism. An independent claim is included for a method for opening and closing a thrust reverser door for a jet power plant.
