Abstract (en)
The lighting unit has a lamp (1) and a plate-shaped transparent construction element. A free space (5) is formed in the row of the construction element by the edge surface of the construction element. The lamp is arranged in the free space and is aligned to the edge surface of the construction element. The free space is formed by a chamfer surface (3a) provided in the edge surface of the construction element. The chamfer surface is enclosed along its longitudinal extension partially by a profile element, particularly a metal profile such as stainless steel profile.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Beleuchtungseinheit, insbesondere zur Beleuchtung hochwertiger Gegenstände, wie Uhren, Schmuck und Kunstgegenstände und dgl., mit wenigstens einem Leuchtmittel (1, 100) und mit einem im wesentlichen plattenförmigen, transparenten Konstruktionselement (3, 300), insbesondere einer Glasscheibe. Die erfindungsgemäße Beleuchtungseinheit ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass durch die Kantenfläche des Konstruktionselementes (3, 300) ein Freiraum (5, 500) in der Flucht des Konstruktionselementes (3, 300) gebildet ist und dass das wenigstens eine Leuchtmittel (1, 100) im wesentlichen in dem Freiraum (5, 500) angeordnet ist und in dem Freiraum (5, 500) gehalten ist und zu der Kantenfläche des Konstruktionselementes (3, 300) hin ausgerichtet ist.
