[origin: WO2008141717A1] The invention relates to a filling system of a filling machine for hot-filling bottles or the like containers (2). Said filling system comprises at least one filling element (3) having a liquid channel (8) configured in a housing (7) of the filling element, which channel communicates on the one end with a bowl (14) for the liquid product and on the other end forms a discharge section (5) for discharging the liquid product into the respective container. The filling system also comprises a liquid valve (10) in the liquid channel, said valve being controllable between a closed and at least one open state.
