[origin: WO2009005428A1] The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement for enabling an efficient radio resources utilization in a communication network system comprising a communication network node (10; 15) communicating with one or more user equipments (18) over a radio interface on uplink (17) and downlink (16) channels. The user equipment (18) provides said communication network node with information about a power shortage problem in the user equipment (18) by using a pre-determined field, such as the E-TFCI field, of said uplink channel (17), whereby said communication network node (10; 15) is allowed to take a pre-determined action regarding available radio resources.
