[origin: EP2163455A2] The light signal has a light source formed as a semiconductor light source (11) with long directional characteristics. A light guiding element (12) has an opaque housing and a matted light emitting surface (13) arranged in a focal point of an optical system. A light decoupling unit is provided for close range display. The light source is formed as a chip-on-board component on a carrier board with a cooling body. The optical system has a filter disk including different neutral gray filter stages.
