[origin: EP2163505A2] The lifting platform has rams (1, 2) comprising a cylinder/piston aggregate (13) arranged in a protective- and guiding element (11), where a stroke movement of the cylinder/piston aggregate is controlled by stationary collars (12, 22). The protective- and guiding element is designed as an I-beam. The I-beam is positioned laterally adjacent to the cylinder/piston aggregate, so that the cylinder/piston aggregate predominantly runs in an intermediate space between flanges and a bar of the I-beam. The I-beam is formed as a wide flange beam.
