Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2163513A2] The nozzle i.e. petrol pump nozzle (1), has a float slidably supported outside an operating magnet housing. The float is acted on by inflowing fuel, and movable from a starting position against effect of a return spring. The float has a float magnet and is magnetically coupled with an actuation magnet. An operating magnet continuously opens and closes a gas valve i.e. proportional valve, based on displacement of the operating magnet. The actuation and the operating magnets are formed as permanent magnets.
