[origin: EP2163659A1] The stainless steel has a structure of 5-15 vol. percent of beta ferrite and the remainder austenite, with additives (wt.%) of: C 0.05-0.14%; Si 0.1-1.0%; Mn 4.0-12.0%; Cr 15.5-225; Ni 1.0-4.0%; N 0.03-0.2%; P max. 0.07%; S max. 0.01%, Mo max. 0.5%, and optionally one or more elements of the group Ti, Nb, V, Al, Ca, As, Sn, Pb, Bi and H in specified percentages.
