Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2163821A2] The arrangement has burner lighted with solid, liquid or gaseous fuels. A controller and a sensor detect oxygen content in exhaust gas and exhaust mass flow of heating devices, where the sensor has an individual heating unit for both functions. Each heating device is switched to normal operating condition when increase of the exhaust mass flow is detected by the control unit in standby operating condition, where the normal operating condition enables the detection of the oxygen content in the exhaust gas. An independent claim is also included for a method for monitoring a firing system i.e. heater.
