Abstract (en)
[origin: GB2449502A] The container comprises a base 12, a pairs of opposed sidewalls 14, 16, and a pair of opposed end walls 18, 20. The end walls have respective upper and lower portions (30, 32, Fig.1A) movable relative to each other in telescopic fashion and once the upper portion is lowered, the whole end wall 18 can be pivoted about a hinge with the base and guided along arcuate recessed channels 46. In another embodiment the upper and lower portions of the end wall are hinged to each other and the upper portion can fold outwards and downwards to overlap onto the lower portion (Fig.10).
