[origin: AT506214A4] The method involves passing belt (7) and a plug-in extension (15) extending in an insertion direction (16) projecting with retaining collars (17,18) on both sides in a lateral direction by belt openings (4,5). Two recesses going out from belt opening (3) and through opening (20,22) are formed in area of its aperture in the belt opening limited in both directions in lateral direction. An independent claim is included for a belt buckle.
