A flexible insertion part (14) is arranged at an edge of the protective pad. The flexible insertion part is sewn between the protective pad and the exterior layer in an exposed manner. The membrane layer and the interlining in the region of the flexible insertion part have a bust size. The flexible insertion part is made of fire-resistant fabric that is attached to an elastic fabric. The flexible insertion part is lamellar, semi-lunar or hemispheric.
