Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2165956A2] The method involves feeding sheet-like elements (7a, 7b) in a transport direction (T) with front edges during underlapping (d) of a folding station (3), where underlapping of the folding station corresponds to maximum of folding length (14). The sheet-like elements are downwardly folded in the folding length with a folding unit e.g. buckle folding unit. A folded crease is formed transverse to the transport direction. A folding product is formed such that a distance between the front edges of the sheet-like elements is larger or equal to zero. An independent claim is also included for a folding machine for folding of sheets.
