Abstract (en)
The heald (1) has an elongate heald body made from round material e.g. round wire and plastic, and including a shaft having a flattened section (9). The flattened section is provided with an expanded opening (16), which is limited by two side pieces (14, 15). A surface area of round cross section of the shaft extensively corresponds with a sum of surface areas of the cross section of the side pieces. A yarn eye insert (6) is mounted in the opening. A non-protected flattened intermediate section (9a) is attached to an axial end at the opening.

Eine erfindungsgemäße Litze ist vorzugsweise aus einem Runddraht gefertigt, der einen mittleren Abschnitt (9) aufweist. Dieser Abschnitt weist einen achtförmigen Querschnitt auf, der durch zwei durch einen dünnen Steg miteinander verbundenen Schenkel festgelegt ist. Hier kann der Litzenkörper (2) zur Aufnahme eines Fadenaugeinsatzes (6) aufgetrennt werden. Der Fadenaugeinsatz (6) wird in der entstehenden Öffnung 16 vorzugsweise durch Klebstoff gesichert.
