Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2169300A1] The bulb (1) has a pair of electrical contacts (3) for electrically connecting a LED (2) and comprising two crimp contacts (6, 7). The crimp contacts are electrically separated with each other, and include conductive inputs (8, 9) with conductive crimp shells (18, 19) and connecting zones (10, 11), respectively. The connecting zones connectively-receive corresponding electrical contacts (4, 5) of the LED. The crimp contacts include conductive outputs (12, 13) with a supply tab electrically connected to the conductive inputs, respectively. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a lighting device for a motor vehicle, comprising a support (2) a bobbin for an automatic crimping and cutting machine, comprising an edge strip (3) a method for fabricating a LED bulb (4) a method for fabricating a bobbin for an automatic crimping and cutting machine.
