Abstract (en)
The method involves measuring the current of the alarm system loop, and comparing with a reference value. An error report of the shortfall of the reference value is generated. A testing current is generated at the alarm system loop by the terminal module periodically during testing period. The alarm system loop is supplied with a constant line voltage. The testing current is equal to the current of an alarm. The generation of the testing current by the terminal module is activated for a time tolerated by the alarms by breaking and re-switching the line voltage. An independent claim is included for a danger alarm system, which has a central unit.

Zum Prüfen einer mit einer konstanten Linienspannung gespeisten Meldelinie mit n Meldern einer Gefahrenmeldeanlage im Ruhezustand auf unzulässig hohen Widerstand wird mittels eines Endmoduls periodisch und während einer Prüfzeit ein Prüfstrom auf der Meldelinie erzeugt, der mindestens gleich dem Strom eines Melders im Alarmzustand ist.
