Abstract (en)
The method involves utilizing route information of a vehicle (6) for providing a recommendation for carrying out an overtaking manoeuvre for another vehicle (10). The route information of the latter vehicle is transmitted from the former vehicle by wireless communication (12). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a driver assistance device for providing a recommendation for carrying out an overtaking manoeuvre; (2) a computer program, which has a program code unit; and (3) a computer program product, which has a program code unit.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Bereitstellen einer Empfehlung zum Durchführen eines Überholmanövers, bei dem vorgesehen ist, dass sich entlang einer Strecke einem ersten Fahrzeug (6) ein zweites Fahrzeug (10), das dem ersten Fahrzeug (6) folgt, nähert, wobei für das zweite Fahrzeug (10) Routeninformationen des ersten Fahrzeugs (6) zum Bereitstellen der Empfehlung zum Durchführen des Überholmanövers verwendet werden, wobei von dem Überholmanöver abgeraten wird, falls aus den Routeninformationen hervorgeht, dass das erste Fahrzeug (6) die Strecke zeitnah verlässt.
