Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2169764A1] The antenna e.g. bipolar slot antenna (102), has transmission and reception zones formed by liquid volumes (106.1, 106.2). A connection unit (104) connects the antenna to a data transmission/reception circuit. A set of electrodes (112) modifies the shape of the liquid volumes, where the electrodes use electromagnetic forces when the liquid is magnetorheological liquid, or electrostatic forces when the liquid is Indalloy 46L (RTM: gallium-indium alloys), mercury or water with additive e.g. acid. A control unit controls a liquid volume deforming unit.
